Mini Musicians

Our Mini Musicians program helps older preschoolers step into their own as little performers, creators, and collaborators. Each class introduces early musicianship—melody, pitch, rhythm, and song structure—through fun, hands-on exploration. Children learn to play beginner instruments like rhythm sticks, bells, and small ukuleles while singing and moving together. We connect music to storytelling, giving kids a chance to use their imagination to “build a song” from start to finish. Following Colorado’s Early Learning and Developmental Guidelines, each activity supports fine motor coordination, memory, emotional expression, and social development. Kids gain a sense of accomplishment as they perform for one another and work together on mini “concert” pieces. They begin to understand musical patterns and form while developing focus, cooperation, and self-confidence. Every class encourages creativity, laughter, and pride in their own musical growth.
